Overview

Manufactured in Taiwan The BS-10LS heavy duty metal cutting band saw has many features on offer with a swivel base to cut mitres up to 45 degrees, variable speed control, hydraulic feed control a cutting capacity of up to 250mm diameter or 468 x 250mm in steel at 90º and two ball bearings per side on the blade guides for optimal control and accuracy. There is a choice of blade speeds via an adjustable dial system so that the cutting speed can be changed to suit a wide range of materials, whilst the built-in coolant system ensures maximum cutting efficiency and longer blade life. Both blade control arms are adjustable, allowing them to be positioned as close to the cut as possible. This means reliably and accurate cuts! The cutting operation works automatically with the weight of the head providing the cutting force and a limit switch shutting the machine down when the cut is complete. The weight of the head is counterbalanced by an adjustable hydraulic damper to control the feed rate, an excellent machine choice for maintenance shops, steel fabrications, and engineering workshops. . Overview

The BS-5V is the smallest portable swivel head metal cutting band saw in our range. It is very suitable for the home model engineer where space may be tight but an accurate machine is required. Constructed mainly from cast alloy and steel, it has a very rigid bow that enables a high degree of tension to be applied to the blade. The whole bow and motor assembly can be swivelled from 0° to 60° to create accurate mitre cuts. The blade is firmly guided by double ball bearing and is driven via the direct drive motor fitted with variable speed, so the blade speed can be adjusted to suit the task in hand. The conveniently located hand trigger switch on the bow and a spring system supports the weight of the bow during operation. This is a compact and very well made machine with enough capacity for most home model engineers and it can be relied on to deliver an accurate cut every time.

Overview

The BS-4A is an economically priced metal cutting band saw with a robust four-legged stand cross braced with a under tray and built-in mitre cutting capability. The ball bearing guided blade can be driven at a choice of three speeds via a reduction gearbox, depending on the type of material being cut and there is an automatic cut-off, adjustable for height, for stopping the motor when the cut is complete. One notable feature on this saw are the rear mounted wheels on the stand allowing it to be portable, ideal for maintenance shops, light steel fabrications, and engineering workshops.
